Privacy Policy

The3DTools (“we”, “us”) provides browser-based mockup and generator tools at the3dtools.com. This policy explains what happens to data when you use the site.

Most tools process files and previews locally in your browser. Screenshots, artwork, and exports are not uploaded to our servers unless a specific tool or feature explicitly says otherwise.

Tool usage (local). Uploads, textures, and canvas/WebGL state typically stay on your device. Closing the tab discards in-memory data unless you export or save a file yourself.

Feedback. If you send a message through the feedback widget, we receive the content you submit, optional contact details you provide, and basic request metadata (such as approximate time and IP address) used for abuse prevention and delivery to hello@the3dtools.com.

Optional analytics. When enabled, we use privacy-friendly page analytics (Plausible) to understand aggregate traffic — for example which hubs are popular. Plausible is designed to avoid cookies and personal profiling. See their documentation for how their service works.

Technical logs. Hosting providers may retain standard server logs (IP, user agent, timestamps, requested URLs) for security and reliability.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Essential site function does not depend on non-essential cookies. If analytics are enabled via Plausible, they are operated without tracking cookies for that purpose.

We do not sell your personal information. Feedback email is delivered through our email provider. Analytics (when enabled) are processed by Plausible. Hosting infrastructure may process technical request data as needed to serve the site.

Feedback messages are retained as long as needed to respond and operate the product. Analytics aggregates follow the retention settings of our analytics provider. Server logs follow our host’s standard retention.

You can use most tools without creating an account or sending feedback. You may contact us to ask about feedback you submitted. Use browser controls to clear local storage or downloaded files on your device.

The3DTools is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after updates means you accept the revised policy.
